Bernie Taylor: A Life Fulfilled.

September 26, 1921 – August 12, 2022

Many of you knew my mother, Bernie Taylor: an interpreter, and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She passed away at the age of 100 in Seattle with her family by her side.

Bernie and Ron raised three children and ran a heating and fuel business. Bernie loved to travel locally in Washington State and would always want to go to the end of the road on her trips. She also was able to travel everywhere in the world that was on her bucket list, except Antarctica.

Bernie was very involved with her church and had many friends at all three Catholic churches on Queen Anne Hill. She was also involved in the Seattle Deaf community. She interpreted until she was in her 90’s.

The lives she touched were enriched for having known and shared time with her. She truly valued her many friends. Bernie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, Ron, her son, Mark and her sister, Margie. She is survived by her son Paul (Sheree) and her daughter Marty (Dianne), six grandchildren Barbara, Wesley, Eva, Katherine, Heidi and Erica and six great-grandchildren Isla, Tommy, Amelia, Eliza, Ben and Charlie.
